Dan Bilzerian (1980-)

Dan Bilzerian is an American social-media celebrity and gambler, best known for his lavish lifestyle. Born to Paul Bilzerian in Florida, Dan led a comfortable life as a child. His father was a successful corporate takeover specialist. In 2000, Dan enrolled into the ‘Navy SEAL’ training program but could not complete it even after several attempts. He finally quit and completed his college education from the ‘University of Florida,’ majoring in business and criminology. Dan had an interest in poker since an early age and participated in the ‘World Series of Poker’ in 2009. He ended his run at the 180th place. Over the next few years, Dan amassed a grand fortune by playing poker.

 

Noam Chomsky (1928-)

Avram Noam Chomsky is an American linguist, political theorist, and activist often referred to as “the father of modern linguistics.” One of the most prominent philosophers and intellectuals of the contemporary era, he is also hailed as one of the founders of the field of cognitive science. He has described his own politics variously as anarchist, anarchosyndicalist, and libertarian socialist, and has been a critic of American foreign policy from the past several decades. The son of a Jewish scholar, he grew up in an intellectually stimulating environment and studied philosophy, logic, and languages at the University of Pennsylvania. It was here that he developed an interest in philosophy, under the tutelage of his teacher Nelson Goodman.

Jennifer Syme (1972-2001)

Jennifer Maria Syme was an American actress and personal assistant who briefly dated actor Keanu Reeves. A native of California, Syme spent the first few years of her life in Laguna Beach. She later relocated to Los Angeles with her mother where she started working for director David Lynch. As an actress, she appeared in a few films including the 1997 release ‘Lost Highway’. Syme began dating Reeves sometime in 1998 and a year later it was revealed that she was pregnant. However, the baby, who was named Ava Syme-Reeves, was stillborn. The couple separated soon after but they remained friends until her death in an accident in April 2001. Syme was buried beside her daughter in Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles.

Larry Bird (1956-)

Larry Joe Bird is an American former iconic basketball player who played for NBA’s ‘Boston Celtics’. He is a legend in the NBA scene as he holds many records and brilliant career stats. No wonder he is also addressed as ‘Larry Legend’. With an extensive list of achievements, Larry is one of the most popular NBA players of all time. He has won three NBA tournaments and has been awarded the Most Valuable Player on five occasions. With 12 NBA All-Star honors and nine All-NBA First Team honors, Larry is regarded as the deadliest shooter, the master intimidator and an excellent scorer of all time. He has had a successful post-retirement career as well and has been honored with Best Coach and NBA Executive of the Year awards.

Nicholas Hoult (1989-)

Nicholas Hoult is a famous English actor. He gained prominence after starring in the role of Marcus Brewer alongside Hugh Grant in the movie ‘About A Boy’. He is best known for playing the role of Beast in the ‘X-Men: First Class’, ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’, and ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’. Hoult earned a ‘Golden Nymph Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series’ nomination for his portrayal of Tony Stonem on the TV show ‘Skins’. He met actress Kaya Scodelario on the sets of the ‘Skins’ and he regards her guidance as a blessing in his life. He admittedly doesn’t like watching his own acting and often plays pranks. He once ran into a golf course dressed as Beast and gave golfing tips and then ran away.

Tom Waits (1949-)

Tom Waits, born as Thomas Alan Waits, is an American singer and actor famous for his unconventional songs in music genres such as, blues, jazz and vaudeville. Blessed with a distinctive voice that is intoxicating, gravelly and mellow, all at once, he easily carved a niche for himself in the booming music scenario in the America of the 1970s. Along with singing and acting, this talented guy also composes music and writes songs. Never one to adhere to traditions, Waits experimented with different music styles and acting roles, though he also loved to perform conventional ballads. He has a deep love for his profession and has been singing for over four decades now.
