Virat Kohli (1988-)

Virat Kohli is an Indian international cricketer, counted amongst the top sportsmen in India. Considered to be among the best batsmen in the present era, he also doubles up as an occasional right-arm medium pace bowler. He is known for his dependable and powerful batting style and has single-handedly won several matches for India. Virat became fascinated with cricket quite early on in his life and took to the bat when he was just three. His parents recognized his potential and had him enrolled at the West Delhi Cricket Academy when he was nine years old. He developed into a very talented player over the ensuing years and represented his city Delhi at various age-group levels and domestic cricket.

Kris Jenner (1955-)

Kris Jenner is an American reality television personality, producer, entertainment manager, author, and businesswoman. She is best known for appearing in the reality TV series ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’. She is also popular for appearing in ‘America’s Next Top Model’ and ‘The Talk’. A multi-faceted personality, she began her career as a flight attendant before starting her own business ventures. Eventually, she found wide-spread fame as a reality TV star. Jenner has also authored various books including her autobiography titled ‘Kris Jenner… and All Things Kardashian’ and the cookbook ‘In the Kitchen with Kris: A Kollection of Kardashian-Jenner Family Favorites’.

 

Sam Rockwell (1968-)

Sam Rockwell is an American film actor known for his work in films, such as ‘Confessions of a Dangerous Mind’, ‘Cowboys & Aliens’ and ‘Seven Psychopaths’. Born in Daly City, California, he developed an interest in acting at an early age and made his stage debut at the age of ten. At the age of twenty, he made his film debut, playing an important role in the film ‘Clownhouse’. The film was about three mental patients who attack three young brothers, disguised as clowns.In the early 1990s, he appeared mostly in TV shows in guest roles. He came to popularity after he played a main role in the comedy drama film ‘Box of Moonlight’ and the lead role in ‘Lawn Dogs’. The latter won him two Best Actor awards at two film festivals.

Vivien Leigh (1913-1967)

Vivien Leigh, born as Vivian Mary Harley, was a British film and theatre actress, most famous for her Hollywood movies ‘Gone with the Wind’ and ‘A Street Car named Desire’. She won two Academy Best Actress Awards and two New York Film Critics Circle Awards for both the films. She was not just a movie actress but also a very good theatre performer and for her Musical Broadway, ‘Tovarich’, she earned a Tony Award. She did many British and Hollywood movies and was famous for various Shakespearean characters that she played on the stage–– ‘Cleopatra’, ‘Juliet’, ‘Ophelia’, etc. She was known to be the most beautiful actress of her time.

 

Tilda Swinton (1960-)

Tilda Swinton is a famous British actress, model, and artist who has appeared in many well-known films and has won numerous awards for her outstanding performances. Swinton was born in London in a prominent family. She joined the Royal Shakespeare Company and made her professional acting debut in the play ‘Measure for Measure’. She later moved to cinema, making her movie debut in the British film ‘Caravaggio’. The other important works in her career include ‘Vanilla Sky’, ‘Constantine’ and ‘Michael Clayton’ for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress as well as the BAFTA Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Karen Crowder.

 

Sam Shepard (1943-)

Samuel Shepard Rogers III was an American playwright, actor, and filmmaker whose contribution to film, theatre, and literature spanned half a century. Hailing from a family of educators, Shepard developed an attraction towards the works of Samuel Beckett, jazz, and abstract expressionism during his college years. He finished his first play, ‘Cowboys’ in 1964. While in the initial years of his career, he was exclusively occupied with stage works, in 1969, he co-wrote the script for the family-drama ‘Me and My Brother’. Shepard ventured into acting in 1970 and over the years, established himself as a prominent character actor, first in films and later on television, even earning an Oscar nod for his performance in ‘The Right Stuff’.

Luke Hemsworth (1981-)

Luke Hemsworth is an Australian actor, well known as the eldest brother of superstars, Hemsworth Chris Hemsworth and Liam Hemsworth. Luke is popularly known for his debut role in the television series ‘Neighbours’ and his recent role as Ashley Stubbs in the HBO series ‘Westworld’. His role as Nathan Tyson in the TV series ‘Neighbours’ earned him quite a bit of fame but he generally prefers being away from the spotlight. He played lead roles in ‘Hickok’, ‘The Anomaly’, ‘Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms’, and more. He also appeared in small but notable guest roles in a number of TV series like ‘Blue Heelers’, ‘Last Man Standing’, and ‘Winners & Losers’. Until recently, Luke was famous as a television actor.
