Kendall Jenner (1995-)
Kendall Nicole Jenner is an American television personality, Instagram star, socialite, and modeling sensation who shot to fame with the reality television show, ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ that airs on the ‘E!’ cable network. The show follows personal and professional lives of the Kardashian-Jenner family, including her famous half-sisters Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian and her younger sister Kylie Jenner among others. She stepped into the world of high fashion modeling after such popularity. Following an ad campaign for ‘Forever 21,’ her career in modeling skyrocketed and she walked the ramp for almost each and every luxury brand available, including ‘Prada,’ ‘Givenchy,’ ‘Fendi,’ and ‘Chanel.’
Colin Kaepernick (1987-)
Colin Rand Kaepernick is an American professional football quarterback. As a child, he was interested in football, baseball, and basketball, playing all three major American sports with considerable success. He started playing football at the age of eight, after being accepted in a youth football league as a defensive end and punter. A year later, he became the team’s quarterback and threw his very first pass for a long touchdown. He was also included in his high school baseball team as a pitcher who could throw 94-miles-per-hour fastballs. In basketball, he led his team to a high school state championship playoff. Despite achieving most of his high school accolades in baseball, Kaepernick was adamant about playing football in college.
Charles Bronson (1921-2003)
Charles Bronson was an American actor, best known for his work in the 1970s and 1980s. Bronson dominated the film industry during the ‘70s and ‘80s with his ‘tough guy’ image. One of the most talented and versatile actors of the American film industry, Bronson was known for portraying archetypical hard-hitting characters with panache. His excellence over playing vigilante roles made him an unbeatable star in the genre. Bronson started his career as a coal miner and later worked as an air force officer. However, he soon realized his true calling and started appearing in uncredited roles in various movies. His tryst with the camera earned him numerous roles throughout the 1950s in hard-edged crime and Western drama films.
Dolph Lundgren (1957-)
Dolph Lundgren is a famous Swedish actor, film-maker, screenwriter and martial artist. Lundgren has appeared in more than 40 films and is best known for his works in popular movies like ‘Rocky IV,’ ‘Universal Soldier,’ and ‘The Expendables.’ He made his directorial debut in 2004, when he helmed the British-German film, ‘The Defender.’ He then went on to direct several other films, including ‘Missionary Man,’ which was screened at the ‘AFI Dallas Film Festival’ in 2008. Lundgren has also appeared in several television shows, including the superhero TV series, ‘Arrow.’ In 1985, Lundgren won the ‘Marshall Trophy for Best Actor’ for his work in ‘Rocky IV.’
Elizabeth Smart (1987-)
Elizabeth Smart is an American child safety activist and TV commentator, best known for her infamous kidnapping that occurred in 2002. She was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and her name was all over the news when, at 14, she was abducted from her house by Brian David Mitchell. It was later revealed that she had been held captive in his house in Salt Lake City for 9 months. During this time, she was repeatedly raped and abused by Brian, while his wife, Wanda helped him with his activities. Elizabeth was rescued by ‘Utah Police’ in March 2003. Wanda and Brian were both found guilty, and Brian was sentenced to two life terms in May 2011. Wanda was sentenced to 15 years in prison for her role in the kidnapping.
Roseanne Barr (1952-)
Roseanne Cherrie Barr is a famous American standup comedian, television, film and theatre actress, writer, director, and producer. She is famous for her quick wit, caustic comments and intelligent as well as funny insights into the relationship between man and woman and a woman’s struggle as ‘domestic goddess’. She started off her career as a standup comedian by doing standup acts in local clubs of Denver and Colorado, after running away from her parents’ home at the age of 18. Soon her perfect comic timing was recognized on the American television when she first came up with her own show on HBO, ‘The Roseanne Barr Show’. She was offered, what became the most prominent work in the entertainment career, ‘Roseanne’ on ABC.
Kate Capshaw (1953-)
Kate Capshaw is an American actress who rose to fame after her role in the action-adventure movie ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’. The film was helmed by the renowned Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg. Some of her noted work includes ‘Dreamscape’, ‘Power’ and ‘Black Rain’. Following her gig in Indiana Jones, she acted in several movies, starring opposite popular actors including Richard Gere. Indiana Jones also paved her way into meeting her current husband Steven Spielberg. She was previously married to Robert Capshaw. Their marriage fell apart and the duo divorced in 1980. Kate and Steven Spielberg have had a large family with seven kids. She retired from the movie industry in her late 40s and took up charity work.
