Abbie Hoffman (1936-1989)

Abbie Hoffman was an American political and social activist who co-founded the Youth International Party (“Yippies”). An outspoken individual, he held strong anti-war beliefs and never shied away from expressing his discontent with the contemporary American political system. With his meticulously planned protests and disruptions, he became an icon of the anti-war movement and the counterculture era. Rebellious from a young age, he was known to be a troublemaker as a teenager—he got into fights, flouted laws, and disobeyed authority. With time he matured and began focusing his efforts on more meaningful causes rather than rebelling for the sake of it.

Winston Churchill (1874-1965)

Winston Churchill was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945 and again from 1951 to 1955. A multi-faceted man, he was also an officer in the British Army, a writer and a historian. As a young army man he witnessed action in the Anglo–Sudan War and the Second Boer War, and received much praise for his work as a war correspondent. Born as the son of a prominent politician hailing from an aristocratic family, he grew up to be a rebellious boy who hated formal education and did poorly in school. As a young man he embarked on a military career and visited several countries including India, Cuba and Egypt where he witnessed bloody battles and was even imprisoned.

Chrissy Teigen (1985-)

Chrissy Teigen is an American model, television personality, social media sensation, food blogger, and author. She is quite famous in the world of entertainment. She started her modeling career at a young age and made her debut in 2010 by featuring in the annual ‘Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.’ Earning the name ‘Rookie of the Year,’ she continued appearing in the annual swimsuit issue for the next four years, during which she was also featured on its cover in 2014. She was also featured on the covers of ‘Cosmopolitan’ and ‘Ocean Drive,’ and appeared in popular magazines, such as ‘Glamour,’ ‘Esquire,’ and ‘Vogue.’ This sought-after model has campaigned for several famous brands, such as ‘Nike,’ ‘Gillette,’ and ‘Olay.’

Kaley Cuoco (1985-)

Kaley Cuoco is an American actress best known for portraying the character of Penny in the hit CBS television series ‘The Big Bang Theory’. Along with Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki, who star in the series as Sheldon Cooper and Leonard Hofstadter, she is currently one of the highest paid actors on television. Starting out as a child actress, she has built her career steadily with regular appearances in movies, telefilms and on television. Some of her other well-loved television roles include Bridget Hennessy on the ABC sitcom ‘8 Simple Rules’ and Billie Jenkins on the television series ‘Charmed’. Her film credits include ‘Picture Perfect’, ‘Alley Cats Strike’, ‘Crimes of Fashion’, ‘The Hollow’,  and ‘Burning Bodhi’, among many others.

Ben Stiller (1965-)

Ben Stiller is an American comedian, actor, writer, director, producer, and musician. He is best known for playing ‘Larry Daley’ in Shawn Levy’s ‘Night at the Museum’ trilogy. Ben is one of the few bankable actors who can pull off comic roles with ease. His movies have raked in over $2.6 billion in the United States and Canada, with an average of $79 million per movie. After starting his career as an actor, he went on to write several mockumentaries, before producing and hosting his own show titled ‘The Ben Stiller Show.’ He made his directorial debut in 1994 when he directed the romantic comedy-drama film ‘Reality Bites.’ Ben often impersonates performers, such as David Blaine, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Cruise, and Bono.

Mark Twain (1835-1910)

Mark Twain was an American author, essayist, and humorist who wrote a series of famous books, including ‘The Adventures of Tom Sawyer’ and ‘The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.’ Hailed as “the father of American literature” by William Faulkner, Twain was known for not just his humorous writings and satire but also his radical views on imperialism, organized religion, and civil rights. He was a very popular figure and was friends with the presidents, prominent industrialists, and even the European royalty. Born into a humble family in Missouri, he endured a difficult childhood. The untimely death of his father in 1847 forced the 11-year-old Twain to take up a job to support his family. His early struggles instilled in him sympathy for the working class.
