Chadwick Boseman (1976-2020)

Chadwick Boseman was an American actor best known for playing Jackie Robinson in the flick 42 and the R&B singer James Brown in the movie Get on Up. He was also known for appearing as Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film franchise surrounding the character, including Captain America: Civil War and Black Panther. He was born as the only child of African-American parents, who encouraged him to pursue his passion for acting. After completing his studies, he began his acting career by doing a number of TV programs. Soon, he ventured into films as well. For his brilliant acting performances, the actor won many award nominations.

Anna Faris (1976-)

One of the most promising Hollywood stars of the 21st century, Anna Faris has been hailed by ‘The New Yorker’ as ‘Hollywood’s most original comic actresses.’ She had a passion for acting from the tender age of nine, and performed in a play titled ‘Danger: Memory!’ She started hogging the limelight with the horror-comedy-spoof film ‘Scary Movie,’ which enhanced her reputation as a comedy actress in Hollywood. Some of her notable films, include ‘The Hot Chick,’ ‘Lost in Translation,’ and the award-winning film ‘Brokeback Mountain.’ She has also voiced many characters in films, such as ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel’ and ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked.’

Russell Wilson (1988-)

Russell Carrington Wilson is an American footballer who plays in the ‘National Football League’ (NFL) for the ‘Seattle Seahawks.’ After starting his football career in college, playing for ‘North Carolina State University’ and then for ‘Wisconsin University,’ Russell has come a long way to become one of America’s most popular sportspersons. However, he was initially considered unfit for football, especially as a quarterback, and faced rejections early in his life. Eventually, his skills proved his critics wrong and he went on to become one of the leading players for the popular NFL team ‘Seattle Seahawks.’ He also played baseball in college and was initially confused as to which sport he should pursue as his career.

C. S. Lewis (1898-1963)

C. S. Lewis was a British writer. He is an internationally recognized literary figure, widely regarded as a pioneer of children’s fantasy novels. Often hailed as the ‘Father of Modern Fantasy,’ he was among the most versatile authors who wrote on a diverse range of topics and genres. He authored many poems, science fiction novels, literary critical books, non-fictional Christian religious books, and fantasy stories. He is best known for his children’s fantasy novel ‘The Chronicles of Narnia,’ which received immense success; it was also adapted into a movie, which became one of the highest-grossing movies of the 21st century. Some of his other notable works include his widely acclaimed books on Christian faith.

Louisa May Alcott (1832-1888)

Louisa May Alcott was an American novelist, widely appreciated for the timeless classic novel ‘Little Women’. She was a free-spirited girl in her childhood who wanted to become a successful actress and travel the world but her family responsibilities kept her engaged throughout her life. In her early days, she vowed to “be rich, famous and happy before she dies” and undoubtedly achieved every bit of it. Her father was an abolitionist who was unable to provide well for the family which made poverty her greatest enemy. She worked as a housemaid, teacher and nurse to support her family before she started writing. It was the publication of her book, ‘Little Women’, which gained her popularity and fame in the society.

Lauren German is an American actress, best known for playing major roles in movies, such as ‘A Walk to Remember’ and ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.’ She is also recognized for playing; DHS agent ‘Lori Weston’ in the series ‘Hawaii Five-0,’ ‘Rose’ in the romantic drama ‘Sex, Love & Secrets,’ and ‘Leslie Shay’ in the series ‘Chicago Fire.’ German, who became famous for performing her own stunts in the film ‘Hostel: Part II,’ has also contributed to movies, such as ‘Love and Mary,’ ‘What We Do Is Secret,’ ‘Made for Each Other,’ ‘The Divide,’ and ‘Dark Country.’ Besides these, she has also appeared in TV films like ‘Shotgun Love Dolls,’ ‘The Lone Ranger,’ and ‘Surrender, Dorothy.’
