Mary Elizabeth Winstead is a ‘Daytime Emmy’ award-winning American actress and singer. She is widely popular for playing the role of ‘Ramona Flowers’ in the cult hit ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.’ She has received praise for her work in indie movies like ‘Smashed’ where she played the role of ‘Kate Hannah.’ The actress has appeared in hit movies like ‘Final Destination 3,’ ‘The Thing,’ ‘Die Hard 4,’ ‘Death Proof,’ and ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.’ Her performance in the critically acclaimed film ‘10 Cloverfield Lane’ earned her a ‘Saturn Award.’ Currently starring in FX Network’s critical hit ‘Fargo,’ where she plays the main lead ‘Nikki Swango,’ she has been receiving rave reviews for her performance.

Karen Gillan (1987-)

Karen Gillan is a Scottish actress, director, and screenwriter best known for her role of Amy Pond in the science fiction series ‘Doctor Who.’ Born and raised in Inverness in the Scottish highlands, she decided early on to become an actress and studied at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. During the initial years of her career, she appeared in many television series in minor roles. Eventually, she established herself as a popular television actress and ventured into films as well. She made her film debut at the age of 23 with a role in the British supernatural thriller film ‘Outcast’. She became internationally famous for her role of Nebula in the superhero movie ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’.

Anna Nicole Smith was the epitome of the classic voluptuous blonde in the mid 90s. Her life story is the story of a woman who was flamboyant and went rags-to-riches. Even though she was a school drop-out and had a disturbed family life, she always wanted to make it big in life by hook or crook. She gained the publicity by posing for ‘Playboy’ magazine. Yami Gautam (1988-)

Yami Gautam is an Indian actor who has also appeared in a few Telugu, Kannada, Punjabi, Malayalam, and Tamil films. She began her career through TV and later made a successful entry into Bollywood, with ‘Vicky Donor.’ However, her subsequent films did not do well at the box office. Yami was in the news more because of her alleged affair with co-star Pulkit Samrat than for her films. She had notable roles in ‘Badlapur’ and ‘Kaabil,’ but the film that eventually uplifted her career was ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike.’ Yami is extremely proud to be associated with the movie. She has modeled for several brands, too.

 

Margaret Tudor (1489-1541)

Margaret Tudor was an English princess who later became the Queen Consort of Scotland through her marriage to James IV of Scotland. After his death, she served as the regent for their son, James V of Scotland. Known to be whimsical and passionate in nature, Margaret’s biggest concern, throughout her life, was her own survival. However, she also sought to bring a better understanding between her native kingdom and her adopted one. She was one of the daughters of Henry VII and his wife, Elizabeth of York. Her father arranged her marriage with James IV hoping that the union would end Scotland’s support for a pretender named Perkin Warbeck who had his eyes on the English throne.

William Blake (1757-1827)

William Blake was a famous 18th century English artist, poet and printmaker. The poet was highly inclined towards art, and was always encouraged by his parents. At the age of ten, he was sent to one of the best institutions, so that he could excel in his passion. Later, he trained under printmaker, James Basire, showing innovation and dexterity in the art of etching. He pursued his higher education in painting and illustration from the ‘Royal Academy of Arts’, where he became more politically and socially conscious. After his father’s demise, he began working independently writing and illustrating his own poems, while also working for other famous writers.

 

Richard Osman (1970-)

Richard Osman is an American TV host, scriptwriter, comedian, producer, director, and novelist. He is best known for his stint as a host on the quiz show Pointless, along with his friend Alexander Armstrong. He started his career as a scriptwriter, for shows such as Deal or No Deal and 10 O’Clock Live. He eventually wrote for shows such as Total Wipeout and Bromwell High. While pitching the show Pointless to BBC executives, Richard was advised to take up the role of a co-presenter on the show. He thus started co-hosting the show with Alexander Armstrong in 2009. In 2017, he began hosting his own show, Richard Osman’s House of Games.
