Kelly Preston (1962-2020)

Kelly Preston is an American former model and actress. She has appeared in more than 60 television shows and films combined. She is known for her works in ‘Mischief,’ ‘Twins,’ and ‘Jerry Maguire.’ Born in Hawaii, Kelly had to move to Iraq as a young girl. She then spent a lot of time in Australia. When she returned to Hawaii, she started appearing in commercials and developed an avid interest in acting, which she went on to pursue full-time. In her career, Kelly has worked with some of the most popular names in the industry, including Quentin Tarantino, George Clooney, Harvey Keitel, Kevin Spacey, Debra Winger, Zooey Deschanel, Hank Azaria, and her husband John Travolta.

Tiffany Trump (1993-)

Tiffany Trump is the daughter of Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States, and his second wife, Marla Maples. Tiffany Trump dreamed of making it big in the entertainment industry and worked as an intern with the ‘Vogue’ magazine for some time. She later said in an interview that she got a fair idea about the entertainment industry during her internship. In 2016, she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. While studying at the university, she released a music single, “Like a Bird,” and later revealed that she was evaluating to take her music career “to the next level as a professional.”

Sacha Baron Cohen (1971-)

Sacha Baron Cohen is an English actor, writer, and comedian. He became popular for his portrayal of fictional characters, such as the illiterate and dim-witted television interviewer ‘Ali G.’ Cohen was interested in performing arts from his childhood. After graduating high school, he joined his college dramatic club and acted in stage plays. Subsequently, he took up brief assignments as a fashion model. Since acting was his first love, he auditioned for the role of a television reporter for ‘Channel 4’ and was selected instantly. He went on to portray the role of ‘Ali G,’ a comic budding rapper, on the British television show ‘The 11 O’Clock Show.’

Margaret Thatcher (1925-2013)

Margaret Thatcher was Britain’s first female prime minister who held the office from 1979 to 1990. She was also a leader of the British ‘Conservative Party.’ She won three consecutive terms of office in two decades, and became the only British prime minister in the twentieth century to do so. One of the most influential prime ministers of Britain, Thatcher was also the most debated stateswoman of the century, earning both respect and hatred from the public. She transformed the ‘Conservative Party’ into one of the most successful political parties in Britain. She earned the nickname ‘Iron Lady’ because of her leadership style and radical ideologies, which came to be known as ‘Thatcherism.’

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (1948-1997)

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was a Pakistani musician and singer, counted amongst the greatest voices ever recorded. He was primarily a singer of qawwali, the devotional music of the Sufis. As a singer, he was blessed with an extraordinary voice and could perform at a high level of intensity for several hours. His father wanted him to become a doctor or engineer as he felt that practitioners of qawwali had low social status. But fate had other plans and Nusrat too went on to become a musician cum singer. Credited with introducing qawwali music to international audiences, he is popularly referred to as “Shahenshah-e-Qawwali”, meaning “The King of Kings of Qawwali”.

Mary Williams (1967-)

Mary Luana Williams is an American social activist and author. She is known for her inspirational activism with Sudanese refugees. When she was two years old, her father was arrested and subsequently jailed for assaulting police officers. In 1982, when she was about 15 years old, she started to live with Fonda and her then-husband social activist and politician Tom Hayden. The erstwhile couple raised her as one of their own children. Fonda’s third husband, media mogul Ted Turner, was also involved in Williams’ upbringing. A Pitzer graduate, she went on work extensively with Sudanese refugees.

Kate Walsh (1967-)

Kate Walsh is an American Actress, businesswoman, and social activist. She is known for her roles in television and films, and also for her entrepreneurship. She established her beauty and lifestyle company that is running successfully since 2010. Best known for her role as America’s favourite TV female doctor, Dr Addison Montgomery, in the TV series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, and the spinoff series ‘Private Practice’, she has had a long and rich acting career across the theatre to television to motion pictures. She has also campaigned for US Presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
