Anne Hathaway is a multiple award-winning American actress, singer, and producer. She has acted in several films like ‘The Princess Diaries,’ ‘The Devil Wears Prada,’ and ‘Becoming Jane.’ Born to an actress, Anne was exposed to the nuances of acting from a young age. Inspired by her mother, she became interested in acting at the age of three. She then expressed her intention of pursuing an acting career to her parents when she was just eight years old. As a teenager, she started appearing in commercials and became the first teenager ever to be admitted to the New York City-based Barrow Group’s prestigious acting program.

 

Ryan Gosling (1980-)

Ryan Thomas Gosling is a Canadian actor and director best known for playing the leading role in the romantic drama, ‘The Notebook’. He has appeared in several highly successful Hollywood films like ‘Half Nelson’ and ‘Lars and the Real Girl’ for which he received numerous award nominations. The talented actor had always loved acting and was especially influenced by the film ‘Dick Tracy’ which he first watched as a child. Grace Kelly was a renowned actress who later on went onto become the Princess of Monaco. She was born in Philadelphia, to parents who were self-made and earned recognition in their respective professions. Grace had an innate interest for acting and from her early childhood she dreamt of becoming an actress. However, her family did not approve of acting and modelling as a career, and she had to embark on this journey all by herself. She managed to enrol at the ‘American Academy of Dramatic Arts’ and after completing her course at the institute, she joined the Broadway. She had acting skills but she did not succeed at the Broadway. Soon she realised her true calling and made a shift in career by opting for roles in television.

Neil Young (1945-)

Neil Percival Young is a Canadian-born multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. He is one of rock and roll’s greatest songwriters and performers of all time. He is an influential guitarist in addition to being a screenwriter, producer, and director. He was drawn towards music at an early age. Over the next few years, music became his passion. He has been part of many famous bands and has sung several rocking numbers in his career. He has the gift of captivating music lovers with his unique style and songwriting skills. Most of his songs resonate with the young generation all over the world. Even though he faced a lot of problems in his personal life, he never stopped loving and making music.

 

Tonya Harding (1970-)

Tonya Harding is a retired American figure skater, who won the ‘US Championship’ in 1991 and 1994. She gained prominence as a skater in 1989, when she won the ‘Skate America’ competition. After a controversy in 1994, Tonya was forced to quit figure skating, and turned her attention towards boxing. Tonya became a professional boxer in 2003. Her popularity increased when she started appearing in films and TV shows, which made her an international celebrity. What made her a national celebrity though was the 1994 incident when Tonya’s main competitor Nancy Kerrigan was mysteriously attacked just before the ‘National Championship.’

 

Russell Westbrook (1988-)

Russell Westbrook III is a prolific American basketball player who plays for the ‘Houston Rockets’ of the ‘NBA.’ Hailing from a sports family, he started exhibiting his skills when he was just a kid. From winning the biggest honors while playing in college, to becoming one of the most prominent ‘NBA’ stars, Russell has come a long way. He began his ‘NBA’ career in 2008 when he was drafted by the ‘Seattle SuperSonics,’ which was later renamed ‘Oklahoma City Thunder.’ Trained strenuously by his father Russell Westbrook Sr., Russell Jr. dedicated most of his childhood to the game. Apart from his basketball career, Russell has also launched an eye-gear brand, and continues to display his interest in the fashion world.

Megan Mullally (1958-)

Megan Mullally is a popular ‘Emmy’ award-winning American actress best known for her work in the TV series ‘Will & Grace’ where she played one of the main roles. The show was a huge success, winning a total of 18 ‘Emmys.’ Mullally was nominated for eight ‘Emmy Awards’ for her performance, out of which she won two. She was also nominated for four ‘Golden Globes’ for this role. She also played significant roles in series like ‘Children’s Hospital’ and ‘Breaking In.’ She also hosted a talk show named ‘The Megan Mullally Show,’ which was later canceled due to low ratings. In addition to her television roles, she has also appeared in numerous films. Her big screen performance includes her roles in films, such as ‘Everything Put Together’ and ‘Why Him?’
