Rajinikanth (1950-)

Shivaji Rao Gaekwad (born 12 December 1950), known professionally as Rajinikanth, is an Indian actor who works primarily in Tamil cinema. In addition to acting, he has also worked as a producer and screenwriter. He has won many awards, including four Tamil Nadu State Film Best Actor Awards and a Filmfare Best Tamil Actor Award. The Government of India has honored him with the Padma Bhushan (2000) and the Padma Vibhushan (2016). He received the Chevalier Sivaji Ganesan Award for Excellence in Indian Cinema at the 4th Vijay Awards. At the 45th International Film Festival of India (2014), he was conferred with the “Centenary Award for Indian Film Personality of the Year”. At the 50th edition of the International Film Festival of India (2019), he was honoured with the Icon of Global Jubilee award. Rajinikanth announced entry into politics on 31 December 2017 and confirmed his intention to contest in the 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections in all 234 constituencies. He stated that his party would resign if it was unable to fulfill its electoral promises within three years of coming into power.

Sidharth Shukla (1980-)

Sidharth Shukla (born 12 December 1980) is an Indian actor, model, and television host who primarily works in Hindi television. He started his career as a model. He won the World’s Best Model title in November 2005, beating 40 other participants from across Asia, Latin America, and Europe.

He made his acting debut with a lead role in the 2008 show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na. He is also known for portraying Shiv in Balika Vadhu and Parth Bhanushali in Dil Se Dil Tak. He won both Bigg Boss 13 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. He also participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6. In 2014, Shukla made his Bollywood debut in a supporting role in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. He hosted Savdhaan India, India’s Got Talent 6, and India’s Got Talent 7. In 2019, Shukla was among the top 10 most searched personalities in India on Google.

Yuvraj Singh (1981-)

Yuvraj Singh is an Indian international cricketer and all-rounder who bats left-handed in the middle order and can bowl part-time left-arm orthodox spin. He plays in all formats of the game for the national team, represents Punjab in domestic cricket, and currently plays for Kings XI Punjab in IPL. He has previously represented a number of IPL franchises and helped Sunrisers Hyderabad in their maiden title claim. The son of a former India cricketer, he learned the game very early on and stormed through the youth ranks fast to bag a spot in the national team. Despite the occasional inconsistency, he has time and again proved his worth in the team and rescued India with match-winning performances. His career came to a sudden halt after he was diagnosed with cancer, but he successfully battled the illness and made a strong comeback to cricket, the details of which he recorded in the autobiographical book, ‘The Test of My Life’. He runs his own charity ‘YouWeCan’, which has treated thousands of cancer patients over the years.

Melissa Francis (1972-)

Melissa Ann Francis is an American former actress who currently serves as a commentator for the Fox Business Network (FBN) and Fox News (FNC). Her acting credits include the TV shows and films ‘Little House on the Prairie’, ‘Morningstar/Eveningstar’, and ‘The Dictator’. A California native, Francis is a Harvard graduate. She began her career on the small screen when she was six months old in a Johnson & Johnson shampoo commercial. At the age of five, she made her acting debut in the TV movie ‘The Ghost of Flight 401’. In 1979, she had her big-screen debut in Michael Schultz’s comedy film ‘Scavenger Hunt’. Jennifer Lynn Connelly is an American actress who started out very young in the industry and made it very big. She started child modeling at the age of 10 when her father’s friend pursued the Connelly family to use her good looks for print and television commercials. For her first appearance in Hollywood movies, she was asked to perform a ballet routine. Connelly landed her lead roles in Italian movies and English language movies only when she was a teenager. Slowly and gradually she was making a mark for herself in the industry but all the attention and daunting work in the movies overwhelmed her and she decided to take a break and study drama at Stanford University. Sheree J. Wilson (1958-)

Sheree J. Wilson is an American actress, producer, businesswoman, and a model best known for playing key roles in television series’ such as ‘Dallas’ and ‘Walker, Texas Ranger.’ She was born in Rochester, Minnesota and at the age of 9, she moved to Colorado with her family. She had always aspired to enter the show business. But having parents who worked in the IT sector, she somehow kept her desires hidden. Following her graduation from Fairview High School, she enrolled at the University of Colorado Boulder, earning a degree in fashion merchandising. She also began working as a model around the same time. She appeared in many commercial advertisements before she made her screen debut in 1984 with a small role in the television film titled ‘Velvet.’ She followed it with a regular role in the series titled ‘Our Family Honor’ and the miniseries ‘Kane & Abel.’ In 1986, she had the big breakthrough role of her career when she began appearing as April Stevens Ewing in the soap opera titled ‘Dallas.’ She followed it with yet another key role in the action series titled ‘Walker, Texas Ranger.’ She however did not have a very successful film career and more recently, she appeared in films such as ‘Christmas Belle’ and ‘The Silent Natural.’
