Fred Trump (1905-1999)

Frederick Christ Trump Sr., better known as Fred Trump, was an American real-estate developer and the father of the 45th president of the US, Donald Trump. He was born and raised in New York, US. After his father’s death, Fred Trump started a house construction company, in partnership with his mother. He was just 15 years old then. He began with building car garages and progressed to construct apartment houses. He built barracks and apartments near shipyards for ‘US Navy’ staff, during World War II. He also constructed single-family apartment complexes for returning servicemen and middle-income group people. He built more than 27 thousand apartments in and around New York City.

Amitabh Bachchan (1942-)

Amitabh Bachchan is a famous Indian actor, film producer, TV host, and former politician. He is best known for appearing in Hindi movies or Bollywood. With stellar performances in movies like ‘Deewaar’ and ‘Zanjeer,’ he came to be known as the ‘angry young man’ of Hindi cinema. He gained so much popularity at the peak of his career that famous French director François Truffaut called him a ‘one-man industry.’ He has the honor of having received four ‘National Film Awards,’ the highest by an Indian actor. The government of India has conferred upon him several awards like the ‘Padma Shri,’ ‘Padma Bhushan,’ and ‘Padma Vibhushan’ for his exceptional contribution to Indian cinema.

Luke Perry (1966-2019)

Coy Luther “Luke” Perry III was a popular American actor. Performing since his mid-teens, he was active in the industry more than 35 years. After finishing school, Perry moved to Los Angeles in 1984 to pursue a career in acting as there wasn’t any opportunity to do so in Ohio, his home state. He gave audition after audition until one day his persistence and hard work finally paid off. He appeared in an uncredited part in 1982 in the science fiction television series ‘Voyagers’. In 1990, he was cast as Dylan McKay, his breakthrough role, in the TV series ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’.

Bobby Charlton (1937-)

Sir Bobby Charlton is an English former footballer, regarded as one of the best midfielders of all time. Born in Northumberland, England, Bobby had a lot of football players in his family (from his mother’s side). In 1956, he made his club debut as part of the first team of ‘Manchester United,’ and over the next few years, he secured a place for himself on the team. He ended up becoming the captain of the team in 1968 and led them to win the ‘European Cup,’ the first for an ‘English Premier League’ team. He had been the highest goal scorer for England and ‘Manchester United’ for many years. He represented the English national team in four ‘FIFA World Cups’ since 1958.

Matt Bomer (1977-)

Matt Bomer is a well-known American actor. Making his TV debut in the year 2000, he gained prominence for his recurring role in NBC’s series ‘Chuck.’ He is also popular for portraying the role of ‘Neal Caffrey,’ a thief, in the USA Network series ‘White Collar.’ Other television projects of Bomer include ‘Tru Calling,’ ‘Traveler,’ and ‘American Horror Story: Hotel.’ Besides this, the talented actor has made guest appearances in a number of television shows, such as ‘All My Children,’ ‘Relic Hunter,’ ‘North Shore,’ and ‘Glee’ to name a few.

Peter Thiel (1967-)

Peter Andreas Thiel is an American entrepreneur, venture capitalist, author and philanthropist. He is well-known as the co-founder of the American online payment service company PayPal, and the founder of American investment management and hedge fund company Clarium Capital. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, Thiel grew up in the US. He commenced career as judicial clerk and later founded ‘Thiel Capital.’ Thereafter, he co-founded PayPal and remained its CEO till eBay acquired the company.

Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962)

Eleanor Roosevelt was the wife of former American President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the First Lady of the United States from 1933 to 1945. After the death of President Roosevelt, Eleanor rose to fame with her work related to women’s empowerment, New Deal coalition and as a writer, public speaker and political activist. She was a keen political figure who had chaired the John F. Kennedy administration’s path breaking committee that brought the start of second-wave feminism. Her role as the chairman of the Presidential Commission on the Status of Women from 1961 to 1962 made her rank in the top ten of the ‘Gallup’s List of Most Widely Admired People of the 20th Century’.
