Ennio Morricone (1928-)

Ennio Morricone is an Academy Award winning composer, orchestrator, and conductor from Italy. Considered one of the most influential, versatile, and experimental composers of all time, he has produced more than 500 scores and over 100 classical works. He was indoctrinated in music by his father who gave him his first lessons on how to read music and taught him how to play various instruments. He wrote his first score at six, with his parents providing a nurturing environment for his talent to grow. The first instrument he learned in a formal setting was a trumpet.

Ellen Pompeo (1969-)

Ellen Pompeo is an American actress best known for her role of Dr. Meredith Grey in the TV series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. Well established in her career, she is one of the highest paid television actresses in America. Born in Everett, Massachusetts, she moved to New York City in search of better prospects. There she was discovered by a casting director who offered her the chance to appear in an advertisement campaign for L’Oreal. She eventually ventured into acting and over the next few years appeared in many TV series such as ‘Strong Medicine’ and ‘Friends’. Her first important role on the big screen was in the 2002 romantic drama film ‘Moonlight Mile’.

Zoey Deutch (1994-)

Zoey Francis Thompson Deutch, popularly known as Zoey Deutch, is an American actress as well as a model. The talented young actress is well known for playing the role of ‘Rosemarie “Rose” Hathaway’ in the hit movie ‘Vampire Academy’. She has also been active in the television business, working in series like ‘The Suite Life on Deck’ and ‘Ringer’. Zoey was born in a family full of artistes and she followed the trend with ease and determination, becoming a successful actress in her own right. Apart from working in the show business, Zoey is an avid activist committed to the cause of water crisis; she, along with her mother and sister, has worked on various projects for ‘Water.org’.

Richard Burton (1925-1984)

Richard Walter Jenkins, who later became ‘Richard Burton’ after getting adopted by his teacher and theater coach Philip H. Burton, was a world renowned Welsh theater and movie actor. His growing popularity took him to Hollywood where he got wonderful opportunities to exhibit his acting talents in many movies, theater, Broadway musicals and on television. His most famous Broadway performance was ‘Hamlet’ which is also the longest running theater in the world until now. He received many Oscar nominations, two Golden Globe Awards, two Tony Award, a Grammy Award and an Emmy nomination for the variety of roles that he played all through his creative career.

Neil Gaiman (1960-)

Neil Gaiman is an English writer of novels, short stories, children’s books, and other literature. He is one of the most prolific authors of our generation. His fascination for writing began in his early years, when he used to read fantasy novels. As a child, he was a keen observer. He grew up to become an exemplary artist of literature who used his imagination to create marvelous stories. His stories have been honored with many awards and he has earned the respect and love of people from all over the world. He has won several awards, including the ‘Bram Stoker,’ ‘Nebula,’ and ‘Hugo’ awards. His 2008 work ‘The Graveyard Book’ earned him ‘Newbery’ and ‘Carnegie’ medals, making him the first writer to win both the medals for the same work.

Kiernan Shipka (1999-)

Kiernan Shipka is an American actor, best known for her performance as ‘Sabrina Spellman’ in the supernatural horror series ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.’ At the age of 5, she started taking ballet classes. Kiernan Shipka got her first big break when she was cast in the series ‘Mad Men.’ She played a recurring character in the first three seasons and became a regular presence from its fourth to its seventh seasons. As part of the cast of ‘Mad Men,’ Shipka received the ‘Screen Actors Guild Award’ for ‘Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.’ Later, she played prominent roles in movies such as ‘The Blackcoat’s Daughter’ and ‘The Silence.’

Mackenzie Foy (2000-)

Mackenzie Foy is an American model and actress. She is best known for playing the role of Kristen Stewart’s onscreen daughter, Renesmee Cullen, in ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’, Part 1 and 2. She has also played the role of Matthew McConaughey’s daughter in Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi film ‘Interstellar.’ Mackenzie has received several nominations for her brilliant performances and has also won a number of awards. She began modelling when she was just three and already began acting by the age of nine! She has also appeared in several commercials like the Disney commercial for Barbie in 2010, Pantene, Blackberry, AT & T, Kohls and Burger King.
