Vladimir Putin (1952-)
The authoritarian leader who has served three non-consecutive terms as the President of Russia since 2000. He has been accused of being a dictator and in 2014 he caused an international outcry when he invaded Ukraine in the midst of their revolution. He is credited with bringing political stability to Russia during his presidency as the Russian economy grew for eight straight years following his election to the presidency. In 1975, he graduated from the Leningrad State University with a law degree before becoming an officer in the KGB, where he rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel during his 16 years of service.
Kira Kosarin (1997-)
Actress and singer who played Phoebe Thunderman on Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans. She was also cast as Ellie in the 2015 Nickelodeon TV movie One Crazy Cruise. She appeared on Nickelodeon’s Ho Ho Holiday Special in 2015. She was born to Broadway performer parents in Boca Raton, Florida. Her father’s name is Danny. She briefly dated actor Jack Griffo in 2017. She has co-starred with Jack Griffo in the television series The Thundermans. On April 10, 2019, she released her debut album, Off Brand.
Alesha Dixon (1978-)
English hip-hop artist and singer is known for being a member of the trio Mis-Teeq. She began to pursue a solo career in 2006, releasing singles like “Lipstick” and “Knockdown.” She’d later become a judge on Britain’s Got Talent. She originally planned to be a physical education teacher before being discovered by talent scouts. She appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2007 and won, later becoming a judge on the show. She has six half-siblings. She was married to Michael Harvey from 2005 until 2006. In 2013, she had her first child, a daughter named Azura, with Azuka Ononye, whom she married in 2017. Her daughter Anaya was born in August 2019. She has cited Kylie Minogue as one of her childhood idols.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (1998-)
Professional soccer player who is recognized for playing the right-back position for the Liverpool Football Club of the Premier League. During the 2016-2017 regular season, he made a total of 12 appearances with the organization. He joined Liverpool’s training academy at the age of 6. In May of 2017, he was awarded Liverpool’s Young Player of the Season award. He is from the United Kingdom and is both English and British descent. Both he and Jordan Henderson played for Liverpool F.C.
Ayla Kell (1990-)
Rose to stardom on the TV drama Make It or Break It and also appeared in other popular TV series including CSI: Miami and Without a Trace. She performed with the American Ballet Theatre near her hometown of Los Angeles. She had a role in the Robert De Niro comedy What Just Happened. Her mother, Jane Kell, was always an important role model. She began dating Sterling Knight in 2014 and in 2018, they got engaged. She starred on Make It or Break It alongside Candace Cameron.
Diego Costa (1988-)
The striker who made his senior career debut in 2006 for Braga. He also played for Atlético Madrid from 2007 until 2009 and again in 2010 until 2014. From 2014 until 2017 he played with Chelsea. He signed with Athletico Madrid in 2018. He played street football until age 16, at which point he joined Barcelona EP to begin his youth soccer career. He played for Brazil’s national team in 2013, then joined the Spanish national team in 2014. He was born in Lagarto, Brazil, but also earned citizenship in Spain. He has an older brother named Jair. In 2013, while playing for Atletico Madrid, he led the domestic cup in scoring with eight goals, one better than Cristiano Ronaldo.
Thom Yorke (1968-)
Singer and songwriter of the experimental British rock band Radiohead, as well as for the side project Atoms for Peace. He is known for his distinct falsetto voice and for his outspoken views toward the music industry’s unfair treatment of artists from legal and financial perspectives. He had numerous eye surgeries to open his eye, which was fixed shut at birth. He attended the University of Exeter, working as a DJ between his classes. His debut solo album The Eraser was released in 2006. He had his first child Noah with his girlfriend Rachel Owens in February 2001, and his daughter Agnes in October 2004. The couple split in 2015 after being together for 23 years. He is joined by visionary guitarist Jonny Greenwood in Radiohead.
