Giannis Antetokounmpo (1994-)

Giannis Antetokounmpo, nicknamed the ‘Greek Freak’, is a Greek basketball playe,r who also represents the NBA basketball team, ‘Milwaukee Bucks’. He started his professional career by signing up to play for the junior squad of the Filathlitikos B.C., a Greek professional basketball club. Soon after, he became a member of Filathlitikos’s senior squad. Antetokounmpo excelled in all departments of the sport, including rebounds, assists, and blocks. His unusual and extraordinary sporting skills attracted the attention of topnotch clubs in Europe. ‘CAI Zaragoza’, a Spanish club, contracted him for 4 years at € 4, 00,000 per year.

Andrew Cuomo (1957-)

Andrew Cuomo is the current governor of New York. Apart from being a politician, Andrew is also a lawyer and an author. He started his political career as the campaign manager for his father, Mario Cuomo, in 1982. He also worked as his father’s top policy advisor before turning toward law. He then worked as an assistant attorney in New York. His efforts in providing help to the less privileged led to his appointment as the chairperson of the ‘New York City Homeless Commission’ in 1990. He also worked as the assistant secretary for ‘Community Planning and Development’ in 1993, during Bill Clinton’s tenure. In 1997, he was elected as the ‘US Secretary of Housing and Urban Development,’ a post he retained till 2001.

Yoshihide Suga (1948-)

Yoshihide Suga is the current Prime Minister of Japan. He assumed the charge on 16 September 2016, after former Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, resigned on health grounds. Suga currently serves as president of the Liberal Democratic Party. He has a long political history and was previously the Chief Cabinet Secretary under Abe. He also served as the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications in the mid-2000s. Unlike most officeholders in Japanese history who hail from prominent political families, he was born in a family of humble origin. He was ambitious from a young age and left his native village to move to Tokyo to pursue his dreams.

Henry VI of England (1421-1471)

King Henry VI of England, at the age of nine months, became the youngest person ever to succeed the English throne, and was also the only English monarch to be crowned King of France. He was on the English throne from 1422 to 1461 and again from 1470 to 1471, and was the disputed King of France from 1422 to 1453. He was averse to violence and quickly sided with the nobles supporting peace in France, which further divided his courtiers. During his reign, England lost much of its territory in France and political instability increased in England. As his cousin Richard of the House of York gained popularity, civil war broke out in 1455, which eventually led to his imprisonment in 1465.

Sarah Rafferty (1972-)

Sarah Rafferty is an American actress best recognized for her role as Donna Roberta Paulsen on the drama series ‘Suits’. She has also guest-starred in a number of other TV shows, such as ‘Law & Order’, ‘Third Watch’, ‘CSI: Miami’, ‘Six Feet Under’, ‘The Practice’, ‘Charmed’, ‘8 Simple Rules’, ‘Numb3rs’ and ‘Brothers & Sisters’. The actress has acted in many TV films as well. On the big screen, she has worked in the movies ‘Speakeasy’, ‘Soccer Dog: European Cup’ and ‘Falling for Grace’. In addition to acting, Sarah Rafferty also contributes to various causes including The Brain Project (TBJ) and the Alzheimer’s Association.

Eli Cohen (1924-1965)

Eli Cohen was an Israeli spy who operated an undercover mission in Syria, between 1961 and 1965. An Israeli intelligence agency deployed him to develop close relationships with Syrian political and military officials. He was also assigned to extract classified information that later led to the success of the Six-Day War. In the process, Eli became the chief advisor to the Syrian defense minister. A great patriot of Egypt, Eli was eventually uncovered, convicted under pre-war martial law, and hanged publicly in Damascus in 1965. He was married to an Iraqi Jewish woman named Nadia. They had three children. Eli has been portrayed on the screen twice, more recently in a ‘Netflix’ series.
