Walt Disney (1901-1996)
Walt Disney was a showman in the truest sense of the word. A pioneering force in the world of animation, he transformed the entertainment industry completely, with his innovative ideas and creative visions. In his over four-decade long career, he changed the way the world looked at animation and was solely responsible for ushering the golden age of animation. Starting off as a mere animator, he soon turned into a business magnate, eventually becoming a major figure in the American animation industry. He co-founded the Walt Disney Production, along with his brother, which went on to become one of the best motion picture producers of the world. The cartoon characters that we love today are the brainchild of this artistic inventor.
Conan Gray (1998-)
Conan Gray is a famous American YouTuber and vlogger. Gray mainly uploads original and cover songs which he shares with his fans. He started his YouTube channel in 2013 and named it ‘ConanXCanon’. Initially, he had little idea that his music videos would be so appreciated by people. Gray has the habit of putting different type of content on his YouTube page. His main content generally focuses around the songs that he sings. But he also uploads vlogs and speaks to his fans about different things. One would find Gray speaking about his clothes, giving a house tour, his favourite music, movies, or even describing his first day in college. Gray’s voice is refreshing and laudable due to which his fan following grows each day. He also has huge fan base on Instagram.
Strom Thurmond (1902-2003)
Strom Thurmond was an American politician, who represented the state of South Carolina in the United States senate for 48 years. He also ran for the chair of the President of United States of America as a candidate for the Democratic Party. Born and brought up in Edgefield, South Carolina, he worked as a farmer and a teacher and later enlisted in the US military to fight for his country in the Second World War. Once the war was over, he ran as the governor of South Carolina and won the elections in 1946 and two years later, he ran for presidency from the Democratic Party. He was highly progressive as a governor earlier and strongly advocated the uplifting of the black community and also the civil rights in general.
