Hugh Jackman (1968-)

Hugh Michael Jackman is an Australian actor and producer of remarkable versatility, involved in film, musical theatre, and television. After getting a start in films and television in his native Australia, his role as Curly won him recognition outside Australia while he was catapulted to stardom portraying Wolverine in the blockbuster hit X-Men, a role he reprised over the course of his career in sequels like X2, X-Men: The Last Stand, and, X-Men Origins: Wolverine. In between, he earned critical acclaim for his performance in the romantic comedy, Kate & Leopold, and played a computer-hacking criminal in the thriller, Swordfish.

Aleister Crowley (1875-1947)

Aleister Crowley was an English occultist and ceremonial magician. He was once known as “the wickedest man in the world.” Several decades after his death, he is still regarded as one of the most influential occultists of all time. Crowley led a life that was absolutely shocking given the time and era he lived in; he was a heavy user of recreational drugs and notorious for his sexual practices with individuals of both sexes. He joined the ‘Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn’ as a young man and claimed to have been contacted by ‘Aiwass,’ his Holy Guardian Angel. He believed to be the prophet of a new age and played a significant role in founding a religion called ‘Thelema’.

Josh Hutcherson (1992-)

Joshua Ryan Hutcherson, popularly known as Josh, is a well-known American actor. Presently, he is one of the highest paid stars in the world and has millions of fans all around the world. He started his acting career early in his childhood and spent more time on film sets than in school. In fact, when Josh was barely four-year-old he started showing interest in acting. At that time, his parents did not take it seriously. They thought that it would pass away as he grew older. However, that was not to be. By eight, he was determined to be an actor and started scanning yellow pages for contact details of different acing agencies. Later his parents gave in and took him to Los Angeles.

Kirk Cameron (1970-)

Kirk Cameron is one of the most famed actors of Hollywood. A phenomenal and impressive child, he was born with acting skills that helped him take up the profession at the tender age of nine. No sooner, he was a star in his own right, playing for numerous commercials and television series. It was after his stint at acting that he secured himself a role in the television sitcom, ‘Growing Pains’. No sooner, gained recognition and appreciation for his outstanding work in front of the camera. Hiroyuki Sanada (1960-)

Hiroyuki Sanada, born as Hiroyuki Shimosawa, is a Japanese actor who has acted in a variety of films and dramas till date. He has appeared in the movies ‘The Twilight Samurai’, ‘The Last Samurai’, ‘Ring’, ‘Kaitō Ruby’, ‘The White Countess’, ‘The Promise’, ‘Rush Hour 3’, ‘The City of Your Final Destination’, ‘The Wolverine’ and ‘Mr. Holmes’, to name a few. His TV performances include roles in the dramas ‘The Yagyu Conspiracy’, ‘Chodenshi Bioman’, ‘Dokuganryu Masamune’, ‘Taiheiki’, ‘Hideyoshi’, ‘Lost’, ‘Revenge’, ‘Helix’, ‘Extant’ and ‘The Last Ship’.

Ralph Vaughan Williams (1872-1858)

Ralph Vaughan Williams was an English composer who had composed many symphonies, chamber music, opera, choral music and film scores. He was greatly influenced by the fascinating world of folk music and carols, which are quite evident in the “English Hymnal”, a work in which he was involved as a musical editor. Encouraged by this experience, Vaughan Williams incorporated this style into many of his compositions. He was not just a composer; he was a teacher, lecturer and was the earliest composers to collect folk music. Throughout his life, he mentored many young composers and conductors and had a proud array of students that included famous composers like Ina Boyle.

Lin Shaye (1943-)

Lin Shaye is an American actress, most recognized for her role as Elise Rainier in the ‘Insidious’ movie series. After graduating with a degree in acting from the University of Michigan, Shaye moved to New York to pursue a career in theatre. She started off by performing in off-Broadway shows and later moved to the greener pastures of films and television. She shifted her base to Los Angeles and made her debut with a minor role in the 1975 film ‘Hester Street’. Her initial career is dotted with several minor roles in various genres of films. Her most famous films of her early days include ‘There’s Something about Mary’ and ‘Dumb and Dumber’.
